Nextbrowser can link with your other applications to automate tasks and help you work more efficiently.

Why use Connectors?

Connectors allow you to embed automation directly into the products you already use every day.
  • Deeper Automation – Allow Nextbrowser to not just browse, but also interact with and perform actions in your other applications, like Google Sheets or Google Drive.
  • Convenience – Securely connect your accounts once, and Nextbrowser will handle the rest, automatically renewing the connection in the background so your tasks run smoothly.
  • Full Control – You can easily see a list of your connections and turn them on or off at any time, giving you complete control over which apps Nextbrowser can access.

What you can do

The initial connectors being developed are for Google Sheets and Google Drive, with plans to add more like Slack in the future.
  • Link Accounts
    • Options: Google Sheets, Google Drive, Gmail
    • When to use: Connect your Google account to allow Nextbrowser to read or write data to your spreadsheets or files, enabling fully automated workflows.
  • Manage Permissions
    • Options: On / Off
    • When to use: Toggle a connection off to temporarily or permanently deny Nextbrowser access to that application without having to remove the connection entirely.
  • View Connections
    • Options: List of active and inactive connectors
    • When to use: Get a clear overview of all the applications you have linked to your Nextbrowser account.

How to Set It Up

You can link your external applications from a few different places depending on your workflow. 1. Connecting from the Main Page
This method is for setting up connections before you start an automation.
  • Click the “+” icon on the main page to open a dropdown menu.
  • From the dropdown, select the application you want to link (e.g., “Connect Google Drive”).
  • A secure OAuth window will appear, prompting you to sign in to your account and authorize the connection.
  • Upon successful authorization, a confirmation message like “<App> was connected successfully” will be displayed.
2. Connecting from the Management Page
This page provides a central hub to view and manage all your connections.
  • Open the sidebar and navigate to the “Connectors” page.
  • You will see a list of all available connectors, each with a description and its current connection status (connected/disconnected).
  • You can connect or disconnect any service directly by using the toggle on its card.
  • Activating the toggle to “connect” will trigger the pop-up for OAuth or another connection method.
